Ce disque magn\u00e9tique, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom \u00ab\u00a0aimant rond\u00a0\u00bb, est fait de SmCo<\/strong>, le nom d\u2019un alliage compos\u00e9 principalement de Samarium (Sm) et Cobalt (Co). Comme les aimants en n\u00e9odyme, ils sont fabriqu\u00e9s par la technique du frittage.<\/p>\n

Les aimants en Samarium-Cobalt offrent un excellent \u00e9quilibre<\/strong> entre force d\u2019adh\u00e9rence et r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature. En effet, ils sont consid\u00e9rablement plus forts que la ferrite<\/strong> tout en offrant la m\u00eame ou m\u00eame une plus grande r\u00e9sistance aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures et \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/strong> En plus des SmCo, la seule v\u00e9ritable alternative pour une utilisation dans des environnements avec des temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eamement \u00e9lev\u00e9es sont les aimants Alnico, qui peuvent tol\u00e9rer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 650\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Une autre particularit\u00e9 des aimants en SmCo est la possibilit\u00e9 de fonctionner normalement m\u00eame \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures proches de -150\u00b0C<\/strong>, se r\u00e9v\u00e9lant donc tr\u00e8s bien adapt\u00e9 aux situations de froid extr\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Toutes ces caract\u00e9ristiques, associ\u00e9es \u00e0 leur coercitivit\u00e9 consid\u00e9rable, en font le choix id\u00e9al dans de nombreuses applications sp\u00e9cifiques, telles que les capteurs, les relais, les moteurs \u00e9lectriques, les \u00e9quipements de laboratoire et bien d\u2019autres!<\/strong><\/p>\n
