Description

This versatile product is made of plastoferrite: a magnetic, rubber-like material, which is appreciated for its flexibility and the possibility to have multiple poles on one side. This allows you to stick two pieces together, without them repelling each other.

On all widths under 20mm there are only three poles present, so the coupling of two strips from the same roll will not be symmetrical. Please contact us if you need to pair two strips together.

This version has an adhesive tape on the non-magnetic side. This option makes it even more convenient to attach the magnetic band directly onto objects or surfaces. You just need to peel of the protective film.

The X5 type is “isotropic”, which means not oriented. This has benefits in the magnetization choices for the material together with a more competitive price, but the resulting attraction force is lower than other products.
Since this product has multiple poles on one side only, it means that the other is extremely weaker, and should not be used as the surface for magnetic attraction.

This product is especially useful to give magnetic capabilities to many small objects in the house and in the office alike. Use the magnetic band on the back of pictures, cardboard or any light object.
Although you cannot expect a very strong attraction force, this material will hold approximately 50g/cm². Actual attraction force will vary according to the application.

Plastoflex is sold in meters, so please select the total length that you need.
You can then easily cut it into smaller pieces with a blade, without ruining its magnetic properties.

ATTENTION: do not put strong neodymium magnets in direct contact with the Plastoflex for prolonged periods, or the latter may demagnetize.
