What does N52 magnet mean?

The letter N, followed by a number (usually from 35 to 52) represents the grade (magnetic force) of a Neodymium Magnet. The higher the value, the stronger the magnet.

N35 or N52 magnets? Which is better?

N52 Neodymium Magnets are way stronger. For reference, a D.12×3 Neodymium Disc with grade N35 has an attraction force of 1,8 Kg, whereas with N52 it has 3,10 Kg (almost double the amount !!!).

 

N52 RARE EARTH MAGNETS

Neodymium Magnets are really Strong Magnets made by an alloy of Neodymium, Iron and Boron (NdFeB). Neodymium is a rare-earth element (REE), also called rare-earth metal or (in context) rare-earth oxide. Even at their smallest size, Neodymium Magnets have a really high magnetic force.
