Any question about magnets with Hooks or Eyelets, and our product range? Here a quick guide:
What is a Hook Magnet?
A hook magnet features an open, curved hook attached to a durable iron pot where the magnet is encased. It provides a magnetic anchor point, allowing you to easily hang and organize items without the need to drill into walls or use adhesives.
Depending on the industry or application, these products are also frequently called:
• By component design: Magnetic hooks, magnets with hooks, open-hook magnets, magnets with hanger.
• By functional use: Hanging magnets, anchoring magnets, utility hooks, or ceiling hook magnets.

What is an Eyelet Magnet?
An eyelet magnet features a ring-top (the eyelet) attached to a durable iron pot where the magnet is encased. It provides a secure anchor point for ropes, cables, hooks and snap-hooks, without the need to drill into walls or use adhesives.
Depending on the industry or application, these products are also frequently called:
• By component design: magnets with closed hook, ring-top magnets or, magnets with mounting ring.
• By functional use: Tethering magnets, cable management magnets, or magnet fishing pots.

What is a Pot Magnet and what is it used for?
A pot magnet (also known as a magnetic base) consists of a permanent magnet encased inside a heavy-duty iron or steel pot shell.
Raw permanent magnets — especially powerful neodymium types — are naturally brittle and vulnerable to shocks, moisture, and extreme temperatures. The metal casing acts as a protective armor, with the added function of concentrating the magnetic field onto a single surface to dramatically boost the magnet's holding power.
Because raw magnets cannot be welded or easily drilled, the pot magnet design serves as an incredibly versatile tool. The durable metal shell allows for the seamless integration of various mounting hardware. Depending on your needs, pot magnets can be equipped with threaded studs, hooks, eyelets, or internally threaded bushings. Magnetic rings can be used so that the metal pot can feature countersunk holes, through holes, or threaded holes. This allows for incredibly versatile applications across multiple industries.
Specialized, completely waterproof casings are also available, allowing these magnetic systems to perform reliably in high-humidity or underwater environments. The base can be fitted with a rubber coating to reduce slipping and ensure better grip on very smooth surfaces.
What are Neodymium Magnets?
Neodymium Magnets are the strongest commercially available Magnets. Also called Rare Earth Magnets or NdFeB Magnets (nd magnets, neomagnets), they are made of an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron. Neodymium is a rare-earth element (REE). Even at their smallest size Neodymium Magnets have a Very High Magnetic Strength and Coercivity. Check out our blog post Neodymium Magnets: The Complete Guide
What are the grades of Neodymium magnets? What does the letter N stand for?
The grade of a Neodymium magnet indicates its magnetic strength – the higher the grade, the stronger the magnet. This grade is indicated by the letter N followed by a number (usually 35 up to 56). It is linked to the magnetic flux output per unit of volume, and increases with the quantity of Neodymium present in the magnet. Our standard products are N35 but we have many magnets in stock with N38, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50, N52, N56 grades.
How strong is a Neodymium magnet?
The strength of a Neodymium magnet depends on multiple factors like size, shape and magnetic grade. You can find clear specifications like the pulling force / force of attraction in the product page. For reference, a D.12×3 mm Neodymium Disc with N35 grade has an attraction force of 1,8 Kg, whereas with N52 it has 3,10 Kg. But a N56 Magnet with the same size reaches 4,5 kg !!! Check out our blog post How strong is a Neodymium Magnet?
What is the maximum temperature at which Neodymium magnets can be used?
Our standard magnets have a maximum working temperature of 80 °C, but we can produce magnets on request that can reach up to 200 °C. Check out our Heat Resistant Magnets Page
What are the possible coatings for magnets?
We can produce Neodymium magnets with nickel, rubber, plastic, resin, zinc, black epoxy, white epoxy and gold coatings! Our magnets can have iron, plastic, rubber or PVC housings.
What are the magnetization options for cylindrical magnets?
Usually, our magnets are axially magnetized. It means that the magnetization vector is parallel to the cylinder's central axis (from top to bottom).
We can also produce diametrically or radially magnetized magnets. In this case the poles located on the curved surface of the cylinder.
