What do N35, N38, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50, N52 stand for?

The letter N followed by a number (usually from 35 to 52) represents the grade (magnetic strength) of a Neodymium Magnet. Higher values mean stronger magnets. N52 Neodymium Magnets are way stronger. For reference a D.12×3 Neodymium Disc grade N35 has a strength of attraction of 1,8 Kg, whereas a N52 of the same size has 3,10 Kg (almost double the amount !!!).
